Meet Ms. Sarah

Sarah Stichter, M.S., CCC-SLP

My Background

Hi, I'm Sarah Stichter—licensed speech-language pathologist, and mom of two little ones.

I've spent 10+ years working with children and families in Palm Beach County with a focus on early intervention and early childhood development. My specialty is supporting young children with autism, developmental delays, and speech/language disorders during those critical early years when intervention makes the biggest impact.

Here's what I've learned: communication breakdowns cause more frustration than the actual delay. My passion is teaching families how to create language-rich environments at home so everyday moments—meals, bath time, car rides—become opportunities for connection and growth.

Becoming a parent changed everything for me, both personally and professionally. I understand the worry, the comparison trap, the 2am Google spirals. I'm here to help you support your child's communication in ways that actually fit into real life.

Education: Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, Florida Atlantic University

Our Philosophy

Our approach blends evidence-based practice with play-based therapy—because the best learning happens when kids don't realize they're learning.

We're guided by a few core principles:

• Respecting where each child is developmentally (not where a chart says they "should" be)

• Learning through hands-on exploration, not drills or flashcards

• Giving kids freedom to move, explore, and engage at their own pace

• Building skills through play that feels natural, not forced

• Creating opportunities for connection between parent and child

We take a holistic view of development. Speech and language don't exist in a vacuum—they're tied to social skills, emotional regulation, motor development, and family dynamics. That's why play-based, child-led therapy is at the center of everything we do. It's where real connection happens, and connection is where communication grows.
